Hallo Daniel,

As discussed in our meetings (and the Mattermost channel), I was looking for a system to run containerlabs and to "simulate" an IXP.
System has been found (yet to be extended with RAM).

So I fully agree that containerlabs is exactly the way to move forward.

I was also looking for some more experience on how to approach a multi-user environment.

Hi all,

while requesting lab resources to test RFC8950 with our Nokia boxes, a colleague hinted me at Containerlabs.

It appears to be a nice solution for testing vendor interoperability with regard to RFC8950. One can instantiate containers running network operating systems from various vendors and can easily configure their topology.

However, I have no experience with that software so far. Is anyone of you familiar with it and can estimate how well we could make use of it for our purposes?

Best regards,

Daniel W.
